LiveWire Construction performed the full electrical scope of work for the Streator Solar Portfolio, a three-parcel ground-mounted solar photovoltaic system with a combined capacity of 7 MWdc (4.99 MWac) located in Streator, Illinois. The project included complete panel wiring, inverter installation, electrical distribution equipment, and interconnection to Commonwealth Edison utility service—delivering a turnkey electrical infrastructure solution for this multi-site solar installation.

The Streator Solar Portfolio spans three separate parcels across LaSalle County, representing a distributed solar deployment strategy that maximizes land utilization while maintaining efficient grid interconnection. Each parcel features ground-mounted solar photovoltaic arrays that convert sunlight into clean, renewable electricity, feeding power directly into the Commonwealth Edison grid to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers across northern Illinois. The 7 MWdc combined capacity positions this portfolio as a meaningful contributor to Illinois’ renewable energy goals, displacing thousands of metric tons of carbon emissions annually while generating clean power for the local grid.
